Her specialised skills, knowledge & experience includes diabetic foot care & education, general podiatry care and lower limb biomechanics.
With an additional Bachelor of Science degree in Anatomy from the University of Queensland, she has a particular interest in musculoskeletal injury and biomechanics.
Ali is a keen, but very slow runner who often attends parkrun and has participated in many 10km runs. She understands the frustration of injury hampering runners reaching their goals whether it’s 10km or 100km distances. When she’s not running, she’s out supporting those in her running club at various events throughout the year.
Ali is registered with the DVA, helping veterans with general footcare, injuries and custom footwear prescription.
Ali attends regular Podiatry conferences and educational events.
Outside of work, Ali enjoys good coffee, travel and spending time by the water. In Ali’s free time she and her husband enjoy watching the local rugby team.
Ali & her husband have recently been adopted by a cat named Cat! They are becoming faithful servants of their feisty new feline leader.
