Kalei graduated from Queensland University of Technology in 2025 with a Bachelor of Podiatry (Honours). Her honours thesis explored the epidemiology of injuries in semi-professional netball, and led her to develop a strong passion for injury prevention and evidence-based care.
Kalei first joined the team in 2025 as a receptionist while completing her podiatry studies. This gave her a solid understanding of both patient care and clinic operations.
She has an extensive background in high-level sport, including athletics, touch football, netball and AFL. Playing in the Ruby series in HART Premier Netball League and in the QWALF for AFL. This experience fuels her keen interest in sports-related injuries and helping patients return to activity with confidence.
Outside of work, Kalei enjoys all things sports, spending time at the beach, hiking and camping, and walking her dog, Archie.
