When should I replace my orthotics?

Orthotics gradually compress and lose effect. We recommend updating your main orthotics annually. If you have lower limb pains, such as foot, ankle or knee pain, you should update your orthotics and shoes. Old orthotics can be used for lower load activity.

How much do replacement orthotics cost?

For existing patients orthotics are $650 including the required consults. Private health can cover all or part of this amount. Any new foot, heel, ankle, shin, knee, hip or lower back pain can also be treated, but normal consult fees apply.

Should orthotics hurt or need "breaking in"?

They should never be painful and they shouldn't cause blisters. They are very easy to this is all free with no extra costs.

Can damaged covers be fixed?

Our typical very low friction covers aren't super tough, but can be replaced easily. We do this for free for the first 12 months. Worn covers are usually a sign that they are getting towards the end of their best usable period.
