The extra foam underfoot gives more protection, more midfoot support, more protection from forefoot injury and the rocker allows a smooth toe-off. The disadvantage of this extra midsole height is more instability on uneven or more technical trails. The upper is simple to give perfect comfort and standard fit. This shoe is the perfect trail shoe for easy, long trails where comfort and protection matter more than stability."

The Trabuco Max 5 Mens runs on a standard D Width last — a regular fit that suits most men's foot shapes. Suited for the trail runner looking for maximum cushioning for every distance on groomed and moderately technical trails. ASICSGRIP™ technology delivers advanced traction on off-road surfaces, while FF BLAST™ PLUS technology in the midsole provides cloud-like cushioning and a responsive energy return. Approximately 13 grams lighter than the previous version, with a water-repellent mesh upper to reduce water absorption in wet conditions.
