Our sports podiatrists have reviewed the Asics Superblast 3 and describe it as "feeling lighter, faster and a little softer than the Superblast 2. Version 2 of the Superblast was responsive with firmer foam, creating great stability for such a lightweight shoe, enabling runners to use it as a training or volume shoe. Version 3 feels a bit faster and is still very stable for a light weight performance shoe, but some of the stability has reduced which could cause knee, lower leg, ankle pains, etc to creep back in with higher volume. This shoe is perfect for intermediate and beginner runners looking for a race or speed session shoe. More serious runners will still use this for decent amounts of volume as that difficult to find performance training shoe".
